Our "Reveal" Party

For us to find out if we were having a boy or girl we decided to throw a "reveal" party. The whole idea is that when we get our ultrasound we have the technician write down "boy" or "girl" and not tell us. We then handed the paper off to my sister Bethany and she went to go pick out a girl or boy present! Meanwhile all our close family friends gathered at our home for the big "reveal" where we unwrapped the present! It was great and tons of fun! So the verdict is....We're having a Girl!!!

Medeiros Family Christmas

The tradition is that every year we go to Eddie's parents house on Christmas eve with the rest of his immediate family and then Christmas day with mine. This year was no different and we all had a great time celebrating christmas eve together! Here are a few pics!

It's a Girl!

Well we went to the Roseville Imaging Center to get our Ultrasound and beleive it or not the technician said she couldn't get a clear shot of if it is a boy or a girl.....she said her best guess is that it's a girl. So...we'll see. I think I am going to ask our docter to do anouther ultrasound. Do they do that? Will they do an ultrasound just if you ask? I don't know but hopefully! I want to be sure before I break out the pink paint! Anyways here is a 3D image for your enjoyment! In case you can't tell, it's a profile shot and the baby looks like it is sucking on it's thumb...

Christmas #1

Here are some pics of Christmas with my side of the family. Christmas was busy but wonderful! Riley was totally overwhelmed with all the presents! But she seriously got enough to last her for the next year! Family time is wonderful to get to relax and just enjoy being with everyone!

16 Weeks!

Ok so today I am officially 16 weeks pregnant! Despite the heartburn, I am actually feeling much better and am somewhat back to liking food again! Here is the 1st of many belly pics to come!

Apple Hill

Today we went to apple hill for a great day with my parents (Nancy and Don) and our neighbors(Jeff, Manuela, Anna and Heidi, who is about Riley's age) We had a totally fun day and stopped in placerville for pizza on the way home. It is always wonderful spending time with friends and family!

Happy Halloween!

Here is my stinking cute daughter as a fairy ballerina for Halloween! We went to the trunk or treat at the church and had a great time! Riley didn't know what to do with herself! From the jump houses to the cotten candy, she was having a blast!

Our New Addition to the Family

Eddie, Riley and I are pleased to announce that we are expecting a second child in May of 2009. We feel so blessed that God has given us a brother or sister for Riley. We went in for our ultrasound today and the baby has a strong heartbeat and is growing right along schedule. Right now we are about 10 weeks along (2 & 1/2 months). Even though the morning sickness has been tough, we are very excited and wanted to share our 1st baby picture with everyone!

Apple Hill

The girls took another road trip and this time we went to Apple Hill. We had a relaxing lunch, played by the waterfall and ran around like crazy! And as always the apple pie was fantastic!

Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Grandpa Medeiros

Last weekend Eddie's parents visited for the weekend. It was a great day of hay rides, picking out the biggest pumpkins, and playing with the goats at the petting zoo. It was wonderful for Eddie's parents to get to spend some fun time with Riley!

Thursday Play Dates

Every Thursday we have our weekly play date with the Ward family and the Constance family (Elijah, Savannah, and Noah) Lately Angie has been joining us with her new little guy, and Niah made a guest appearance to hang out with the girls :) It's always great relaxing in the shade as the kids run around.

New Shoes

So Riley is officially a girl! She is totally addicted to shoes! We bought her a pair of Uggs for this fall and winter and she LOVES them. I start sweating just thinking about having those on my feet, and literally I couldn't get her to take them off and it's what 100+ degrees outside?

A Day at the Lake

This last week my Mom, my sister Emilee, Riley and I took at day trip to Lake Tahoe. It was a great girls day to relax and have fun! I wish we could spend all summer up in Tahoe! The weather was perfect and the lake beautiful!~

We had lunch at this great little resturant we always go to called Fireside. Then it was off the lake where Riley and my Mom had a great time throwing rocks into the water! That's what grandma's are for.....knowing how to have lots of fun!

William Land Park

Today we had a family day at William Land Park! Riley loved the pony ride. "Blacky"was sweet and gentle and gave us a nice slow ride. Afterward we went to the rides in "funderland"where we went on the cars, the fish ride, the train and the carousel! Next time we hope to make it to the zoo and Fairy Tale Town!
