Disneyland

For some reason the last few weeks have felt overwhelming and I have not gotten around to adding all our pictures from Disneyland. I think it could have something to do with the fact that I have been trying to potty train Riley. The idea seems simple enough but the follow-through is not all that easy, especially when you have a daughter as opinionated as mine. Things will be going perfect, she will have made it all day without an accident and then we wake up the next morning and literally refuses to sit on the toilet. By the third accident I don't have the energy to clean up anouther mess and off we go again with diapers. It has become a vicious cycle. I swear I even make it fun and I give m&m rewards for even trying! The doctor keeps telling me to just ride it out. That there will be good days and bad days, but the doctor isn't at my house having to clean it all up. Anyways...back to disneyland.....
we caravaned down in a rented mini-van (quite the experience) I don't blame Em and Angela (aka Angie on this trip) for taking Em's car instead of joining our whole crew. It was three days in literally the happiest place on earth, Riley still asks me almost every day if we are going to go back to disneyland. It's hard to explain to a two year old that you will, it will just be anouther year or so......so here are the pictures of our little trip.....

Trunk or Treat

My little girls are growing up so fast! I remember when we didn't even have kids and we hosting a trunk. For those of you who don't know, you decorate the truck of your car and pass out candy to the kids. Then Riley was born and now this is our 3rd year with kids at the trunk or treat! Addy was wearing the Minnie Mouse costume that Riley wore 2 years ago. It is crazy how much they look alike at times. Riley was the cutest lady bug I have ever seen! We started off the night with hot dogs, then moved on to the cake walk. Riley won twice! I think she is our lucky child. Addy will be my social child and Riley will be my lucky one. Anyways next was truck or treating (Riley got enough candy to last for the next month, with Eddie and Riley both eating it!) Then it was to the games and bounce houses. It was a great family night! We had so much fun! I love our family traditions and can't wait to start more!

All about Addy

So lately I have been feeling that Riley is ruling the blog so here are some pics of my sweet little Addy. She is growing so fast! I can't beleive that by baby girl is 5 months old! Before you know it she is going to be walking and running everywhere!

Playing in the Rain

On the 1st rainy day of the year there was a break in the rain....Eddie and I took the girls outside to jump in the puddles and play. It was a fun night and Riley LOVED puddle jumping!

Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Papa

Every year Eddie's parents come up and we all go to Bishops's Pumpkin Patch. It is so much fun and a great tradition for the girls to do with their grandparents! Riley rode the pony's, we ate great food and we all took the hay ride out to pick out a pumpkin!

My Mom and Don took Riley camping on Sunday and on Tuesday Eddie, Addy and I went to Tahoe to pick her up. I have determined that Addy is too young to go on trips like this. She does so much better when she sticks to a strict nap schedule at home. Poor Riley will have to be a homebody for the next few months. Despite Addy we had a fun time in Tahoe and Riley would have stayed anouther month if we let her. She LOVED being filthy dirty!
